It is unfortunate but true that many people are not a genuine understanding of the value of strength training as an important and effective part of a fitness or weight loss-have program.

This is due, at least partly, to a misunderstanding on the part of the public on three concepts:

Weightlifting

Bodybuilding

Weight Training or Lifting Weights

Start talking barbells, dumbbells, weight lifting “for most people, and they often begin to imagine hulking figures they have on the front pages of magazines or pictures monsters in movies … although the “Command”, which some men resort not seen. While most men want to have a beautiful body, the images in magazines tend to spook them, or at least a picture of someone with “swelling” and “getting ripped represent” possessed!
